I donated a special heating pad for orphaned little critters like baby squirrels, possums and raccoons to my favorite Wildlife Rescue group in Texas. An employee was sweet enough to send me a picture of the first babies to take up residence on it – 2 little orphaned squirrels.

Grace was a five-week old feral kitten when I started foster-caring her. She’s now 2 years old and has come a long way since then and often “talks” to me when I’m near her. She’s lost a lot of her fear and is happy to snuggle in bed now.
